Provenge
Provenge is a first-line treatment against metastatic prostate cancer with a rising PSA. As an immunotherapy it uses your own blood cells and immune system to attack prostate cancer cells.
How It Works
Qualified candidates for Provenge first visit the local Red Cross for Leukophoresis. During this process a certain amount of your blood cells are removed from your body. These blood cells are then sent to Dendreon, the manufacturer of Provenge. At Dendreon, your blood cells are bathed in the Provenge solution in sterile conditions. It then is sent back to us, where we do a transfusion back to you of your medicated blood cells.
The goal of this process is to build your immune system to recognize prostate cancer cells and attack them in a natural way in addition to medications. This process is offered at our Green Bay location and takes place over 3 sessions.
Botox
In urological conditions, Botox is used to help calm the bladder. It is an FDA-approved treatment of Overactive Bladder (OAB) that relaxes the bladder squeeze, reducing the number of urinary urges and frequent urinations.
How It Works
For qualified candidates, Botox is administered into your bladder while you are sedated.

Interstim
Interstim is an FDA-approved non-medicine therapy used to manage urinary frequency, urgency, urge incontinence, or urinary retention for the long term.
How It Works
Similar to a heart pacemaker, the electrical Interstim device (or generator) controls soft nerve impulses that control bladder function. These impulses tell the bladder and brain to listen to each other, helping to control symptoms. The device is surgically implanted with sedation as an outpatient procedure and it can be used as a long-term therapy plan.
Urgent PC
Urgent PC (or Post Tibial Nerve Stimulation, PTNS) is a FDA-approved, non-medication, non-surgical treatment for Overactive Bladder (OAB) that has not responded to medications, exercise, or dietary changes.
How It Works
In the Urgent PC treatment, a small acupuncture needle is placed in the ankle, and then connected to a device that sends soft impulses to the post-tibial nerve in the inner ankle. This stimulation is felt in the foot and toes. Urgent PC is administered for 30 minutes while you are seated in a comfortable chair, and it may include 12 or more weekly therapy sessions.
Urgent PC therapy is offered at our Green Bay and Marinette locations.
Xiaflex
Xiaflex is a FDA-approved drug to correct Peyronie’s disease of the penis. Peyronie’s Disease is the significant curvature of the erect penis that is painful and often prevents successful sexual intercourse.
The medication is offered at both the Green Bay and Marinette locations.
Rezum
Rezum therapy is a treatment that we offer men with enlarged prostates that are experiencing quality of life issues.
How It Works
We offer this in the office with mild IV sedation. During the procedure you will have steam vapor shot into the prostate that will cause this tissue to flake off with time and permanently open the prostate channel. This allows for a stronger urine stream that reduces the number of urinations per day that are more productive. When you wake up you will have a catheter tube (Foley) draining your bladder into a bag for a few days to allow for healing. You will be able to return your normal activities as soon as the catheter is removed. We offer this therapy at the Green Bay Location.
